Mastic refurbishment work to Morrisons superstores have been carried out by Future Mastics Limited in England & Wales over the past few months.
Morrisons was founded in 1899 by William Morrison in 2004 they completed the takeover of Safeway. There are currently 494 Morrisons stores in the Uk and as of April 2019 employed 110,000 employees, and served around 11 million customers each week.
As a specialist mastic application company we were required to carry out the removal and replacement of existing sealants. We used Adshead Ratcliffe & Co Arbosil HM and Everbuild S50 anti-fungal silicone sealants to complete the works. Most of the work had to be completed outside of normal working hours once the store was closed.
Since our incorporation back in 1997 we have been consistently offering a reliable, quality driven sealant service. We carry out sealant works to many of the well known retail stores including Morrisons, Co-op, Asda, Tesco, Lidl, Amazon, M & S and Primark to name a few. Not only do we carry out mastic sealant work to retail stores we also work on distribution centres nationwide. Our operatives apply various types of mastic sealant and colours to staff and public toilets, cafe areas, retail spaces, kitchens and warehouse floors. We also apply mastic sealants to external and internal shop facades, soffits, doors, windows and wall joints.
Highly motivated, trained & qualified team
Future Mastics operatives are trained to NVQ level 2 or 3 qualified and have a wealth of experience. Our operatives have passed ‘safe use of ladders, step ladders and hop ups’, ‘ Working at height’ and ‘Manual handling’ safety courses plus many others and are fully health and safety compliant.
Managers and supervisors have carried out the SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme) for the Construction and Civil Engineering Industries.
COVID-19
A number of our senior management have completed online courses on infection prevention and control, including a module on Covid-19. The course is designed to help, our business understand how to prevent and control infection and why it is important to do so. The Covid-19 module gives us an understanding of what is required to fight and prevent the spread of the virus.
Carrying out work at short notice and outside of normal hours, nationwide
We’ve completed a majority of our work outside of normal hours when stores are closed over a number of visits. Our clients are extremely important to us, and we do all we can to accommodate their needs. They sometimes may require short notice attendances, night and weekend working.
